Chanel Inimitable Intense

Chanel Intimitable Intense

Chanel Inimitable Intense is possibly my favourite mascara. It has all the things I am looking for in a mascara. I use #10 Noir which is black. I try and buy it while I am in the US as it is a little expensive  to buy in Australia. I think it is $52 AUS. In American you can pick it up for $32 which is so much better.  It glides on beautifully and doesn’t leave clumps of mascara on your lashes or stick your lashes together. I find that this mascara adds great volume to lashes. I usually apply about 4-5 coats to achieve the volume I am after. I also find that this mascara pulls and drags the lashes up ways which gives the lashes loads of length. When you first purchase this mascara (like all mascara’s) you will need to scape off the excess mascara before using it each time. You will only need to do this for the first month or so of purchasing the mascara. I have explained how to scrape the excess mascara off correctly in my “Scaping your Mascara” post. I would highly recommend this mascara.

L’oreal Lash Architect

I really like using L’oreal Lash Architect mascara. It gives your lashes great volume and length. I only purchase this mascara when I have run out of my Chanel Inimitable Intense. I think it was $29 when I purchased it last. You can buy the more expensive mascara’s on Ebay these days. Just make sure you read the seller’s reviews to check that they aren’t fake. You need to scrape off the excess mascara on the edge of the bottle for the first few times of using it, but once you’ve done that, the mascara is perfect. It gives your lashes really nice volume and thickness and it’s not too pricey.

Rimmel London Volume Flash

Rimmel Volume Flash

I usually turn to this mascara when I am trying to save some money. It is only costs $12.95 from Priceline or Chemist Warehouse and it works really well. This mascara adds great volume and length to your lashes. You’ll need to scrape the excess mascara off the brush for this the first weeks of using it  (see my scraping post). Once you have done that, the mascara adds great volume and length. I would really recommend this mascara if you are trying to say money or if you have spent all of your money on clothes and need to cut back!! I always go back to this mascara!! I would highly recommend this mascara.

Christian Dior Show

Christian Dior Show Mascara

I purchased Christian Dior Show in New York and paid around $25 for it. I’m not sure how much it costs in Australia. It doesn’t clump your lashes together or flake and when I apply a few coats it gives me quite thick lashes. The brush is really nice and I find that it spaces out the lashes nicely. I wouldn’t say this mascara is one of the best mascara’s I have used, but I did enjoy using it. Once again you will need to scrape off the excess mascara for the first few weeks. See my Scraping Mascara Post.

Lancôme Hypnôse Drama

I am in love with Hypnôse Drama. I started using this about 5 months ago. This beautiful mascara costs $56 in Australia but I purchased mine on Ebay for $21 US dollars . My boyfriends brother lives in New York so I got it sent to him but I think it costs around $7 to deliver to Australia. It’s a really beautiful mascara. It gives the lashes lots of volume. It has heaps of excess mascara on the brush, so for the first 3 months of using it, I had to use my scraping technique. If you don’t scrape off the excess mascara your lashes will clump up and stick together.
