Vera Wang Bridal

My Maid of Honour, Hayley Jane, organised a day for us at Vera Wang Bridal to help find me the perfect wedding gown. My mother, aunty and two cousins came along. I always wanted to try on a Vera Wang gown, especially after seeing the Kardashian’s wear Vera Wang on their wedding days. It was the perfect day and we all had loads of fun. Briana, my cousin and bridesmaid brought pink Moët to help celebrate the occasion. The shop is located at the Intercontinental Hotel just off Bridge Street. You need to book in advance but it’s really lovely there. Here are some pics from the day. Vera Wang BridalThe dresses are pretty spectacular in the store. I’d recommend trying some on if you are a bride-to-be, even just for the experience. Take your bridal party with you and enjoy. Vera Wang Bridal Vera Wang Bridal Vera Wang BridalI tried on the dress below and it was absolutely stunning. It’s the ‘Liesel’ dress and has a lovely tight bodice and a huge full skirt which is made up of layers and layers of soft tulle. I loved the large pleats that sat over the top layer of the dress. When I came out everyone got a little tear. Vera Wang Liesel Gown Vera Wang Liesel GownIt was a real wow dress but unfortunately I didn’t feel it was me. A little bit too much of a fairy princess look for me but it was still a stunning gown. At this point I started to feel that I needed something a little bit more sexy and fun to suit my personality. Vera Wang BridalThe girls sipped on Moët while I tried on Vera’a gowns! Vera Wang Bridal Vera Wang BridalHere is the Liesel dress on a model. Look at the amazing embroidery on the bust. Something different from your usual bridal gown. Vera Wang Liesel GownKate Hudson’s dress from Bride Wars is a Vera Wang gown (below). I tried this one on too! It’s gorgeous. Vera Wang Kate
